Wildland firefighters successfully contained the ~17 acre Kolob Upper Fire on Friday, July 22, 2022. This means the Kolob Terrace Road is again fully open to drivers. Traffic had been guided by a pilot car to allow space on the road for wildland firefighters to work. https://www.nps.gov/zion/learn/news/interagency-team-successfully-contains-the-kolob-upper-fire-in-zion-national-park.htm
