Clues to Forrest Finn’s treasure chest revealed.

You came to the Cannonville.com website to learn about the local terrain and how to hike it so why is this a post/article? Well, because, like you I am an adventurer that loves hiking and the outdoors. Like any hiking enthusiast in search of a goal beyond the summit, I took about 30 minutes and applied my brain to this bizarre  story and I know where the treasure is!!!!

An eccentric art dealer who claims to have hidden treasure worth millions of pounds in the Rocky Mountains says 350,000 people have tried and failed to find to find the riches. The number is actually exaggerated. The numbers of qualified “people” is/are actually limited or the treasure would have been found already. I think the number represents the larger “minor league”.

Forrest Fenn, 87, was quoted as saying “it could be 1,000 years from now” before hunters discover where the chest filled with gold nuggets and precious gems actually lives.

He revealed in 2010 that he had concealed the bounty somewhere in the 3,000-mile mountain range. This was his funny way of expanding the size of area for press I think. It’s actually a much small area then you would imagine. As conveyed in his poem, a piece that provided clues to the treasure’s location, he clearly limits the space to less that 20 square miles.

Here is where the treasure is approximately
